By purchasing and signing for a home in Columbine Heights, you became a member of the Columbine Heights Homeowners?¡?¦ Association and agreed to abide by the covenants and bylaws. Participation in the HOA is voluntary, however, compliance is mandatory.

CHOA recently took legal action against a homeowner for covenant violations and one of the first orders of business for the new board was to vote to accept the compliance timeline proposed by the homeowner?¡?¦s attorney. Although past covenant administration has been sporadic, the CHOA Board is dedicated from this point forward to consistently, regularly and impartially enforcing adherence to our covenants. The covenants currently in place not only help to protect all of our property values, but our neighborhood survey reports the great majority of our owners are in favor of this. Please contact a board member or an Architectural Control Committee member if you have any questions related to items that may come under the covenants. Any exterior addition to or alteration of your home (e.g., roof or home addition) or any exterior structure (e.g., a shed) must be approved by the ACC.
